Personally Identifiable Information We Collect
We collect your personally identifiable information when you use the Site in order to utilize the LocalHomePro Offerings. We may also collect your personally identifiable information when you otherwise agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy but do not complete the applicable request form in full.
The personally identifiable information that you provide on the applicable Site forms and/or in connection with your request for LocalHomePro Offerings may include, depending on the Offerings requested, all or some of the following: your first and last name; your email address; your primary telephone number; your mobile telephone number (if different from your primary number); your home address, city, state, and ZIP code; the category of home services project applicable to your inquiry; a description of your project, desired timeline, and estimated budget; whether you own or rent the property; the property type (residential or commercial); and any other information you voluntarily provide on the applicable Site form.
Consent to Call Tracking and Recording
LocalHomePro uses call tracking technology to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and to route calls appropriately. This technology is provided by third-party platforms that may include CallRail, GoHighLevel, and/or Ringba. When you call a phone number displayed on our Site, that call may be routed through one or more of these platforms before connecting to us or to a Third-Party Service Provider.
LocalHomePro does not itself place outbound calls to leads after submission. All direct contact with you following your form submission will come from the Contractor(s) to whom your lead information was provided. Those Contractors may record calls for quality assurance and compliance purposes, and you will be notified at the beginning of any recorded call in compliance with applicable state and federal call recording laws, including the Illinois Eavesdropping Act (720 ILCS 5/14-2) where applicable. Call recordings made by Contractors are subject to those Contractors' own privacy policies and data retention practices.
TrustedForm
We use TrustedForm, a consent certification service provided by ActiveProspect, Inc. TrustedForm deploys a tracking script on our lead forms that captures a session-level recording of your form interaction and generates a timestamped certificate documenting the consent event at the time of submission. This certificate is used solely for TCPA compliance verification and record-keeping purposes. TrustedForm may collect your IP address, browser information, form interaction data, and a session replay of your visit to our Site. Data collected through TrustedForm is subject to ActiveProspect's privacy policy, available at activeprospect.com.
Jornaya (LeadiD)
We may use Jornaya's LeadiD script on our Site, which collects information including browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit pages, platform type, date and time stamps, IP address, number of clicks, and records of user movements on the Site including visual snapshots of user activity. This information is combined with other aggregate data to issue a unique identifier for that site visit, which is used for lead authentication and TCPA compliance verification purposes. For more information about Jornaya's data practices, visit jornaya.com.
Use and Sharing of Personally Identifiable Information
By submitting your personal information on the Site, you agree that we may share, sell, and/or transfer such personal information with Third-Party Service Providers in order to complete your request for Third-Party Offerings, and that the Third-Party Service Providers may use such personal information for any lawful purposes, subject to any restrictions contained herein. Any information that you supply to any Third-Party Service Provider shall be governed by the applicable Third-Party Service Provider's privacy policy.
LocalHomePro does not itself provide contracting, construction, or home services work. The ultimate terms and conditions of any Third-Party Offerings provided by any Third-Party Service Providers will be determined solely by those Third-Party Service Providers.
Compensation
LocalHomePro is financially compensated for leads transmitted to Third-Party Service Providers. This compensation may take the form of a per-lead fee, a pay-per-call fee, subscription fees paid by contractors, or other commercial arrangements.
Where you use the LocalHomePro Offerings, we use the personal information you make available to facilitate the provision of the applicable LocalHomePro Offerings to you and for verification purposes. You also agree that we may contact you at any time, via email or other means: with updates and/or any other information that we may deem appropriate in connection with your continued use of the LocalHomePro Offerings; and with information regarding third-party products, services, offers, and/or promotions that we think might be of interest to you.
If you wish to stop receiving future communications from us, please see the Opt-Out/Unsubscribe section below.
By submitting your personal information in connection with the LocalHomePro Offerings, you agree that such act constitutes an inquiry and/or application for purposes of the Amended Telemarketing Sales Rule (16 CFR § 310 et seq.), as amended from time to time (the "Rule"), and applicable state do-not-call regulations. As such, notwithstanding that your telephone number may be listed on the Federal Trade Commission's Do-Not-Call Registry and/or on applicable state do-not-call lists, we retain the right to contact you via telemarketing in accordance with the Rule and applicable state do-not-call regulations.
In addition, where you provide "prior express written consent" within the meaning of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227), and its implementing regulations adopted by the Federal Communications Commission (47 CFR § 64.1200), as amended from time to time ("TCPA"), you consent to receive telephone calls and SMS text messages from the Third-Party Service Providers identified in our partner list (available at localhomepro.org/our-partners), including calls and texts made using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, delivered to the telephone number(s) you provided. Please note that you are not required to provide this consent in order to obtain access to the LocalHomePro Offerings, and your consent simply allows the identified Third-Party Service Providers to contact you via these means. LocalHomePro does not itself place calls or send texts to leads following form submission.
Consent Revocation
Once your lead information is submitted, all subsequent contact will come directly from the Contractor(s) to whom your information was transmitted — not from LocalHomePro. Accordingly, to stop communications from a Contractor, you must contact that Contractor directly. Each Contractor is independently responsible for honoring opt-out and STOP requests under applicable TCPA rules and FCC regulations. LocalHomePro is not responsible for communications initiated by Contractors after lead delivery and cannot process revocation requests on a Contractor's behalf. If you wish to opt out of any future communications from LocalHomePro itself, you may do so by emailing support@stoymedia.com or calling (773) 217-0793. We will honor all such requests within ten (10) business days of receipt.
Please be advised that by agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you are obligated to immediately inform us if and when the telephone number you have previously provided to us changes. Without limiting the foregoing, if you: have your telephone number reassigned to another person or entity; give up your telephone number so that it is no longer used by you; port your telephone number to a landline or vice versa; or otherwise stop using that telephone number for any reason (collectively, "Phone Number Change"), you agree that you shall promptly notify LocalHomePro of the Phone Number Change via email at support@stoymedia.com.
We may also employ other companies and individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf. Examples include sending direct and electronic mail, SMS text message delivery via GoHighLevel, CRM management, call tracking via CallRail, GoHighLevel, and/or Ringba, consent certification via TrustedForm (ActiveProspect, Inc.), landing page and website optimization via LanderLab, removing duplicate information from user lists, analyzing data, and providing marketing analysis. The agents performing these limited functions on our behalf shall have access to our users' personal information as needed to perform their functions for us, but we do not permit them to use your personal information for other purposes.
We will also use your personal information for customer service, to provide you with information that you may request, to customize your experience on the Site, and/or to contact you when necessary in connection with transactions entered into by you on the Site. We may also use your personal information for internal business purposes, such as analyzing and managing our business. We do not currently purchase personal information from named third-party data brokers. If this practice changes, this Policy will be updated to reflect it.
We also reserve the right to release current or past user information: in the event that we believe that the user is using, or has used, the LocalHomePro Offerings to commit unlawful acts and/or in violation of our Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, or any other of our operating rules, policies, or supplemental terms and conditions; if the information is subpoenaed — provided, however, that where permitted by applicable law, we shall provide you with email notice and an opportunity to challenge the subpoena prior to disclosure; or if we are sold, merge with a third party, or are acquired — provided, however, that we reserve the right to transfer your personal information to a successor entity without prior individual notice to you, and your continued use of the Site following any such transfer constitutes your consent to that transfer.
Non-Personal Information Collection and Use
IP Addresses / Browser Type
We may collect certain non-personally identifiable information about you when you visit the Site. This non-personally identifiable information includes, without limitation, the type of browser that you use (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), your IP address, the type of operating system that you use (e.g., Windows or Mac OS), and the domain name of your Internet service provider. We use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect to improve the design and content of the LocalHomePro Offerings, to enable us to personalize your Internet experience, and to analyze Site usage in the aggregate, as well as to offer you products and services.
Cookies
When you visit the Site, we and our third-party partners send one or more cookies and/or pixel tags (collectively, "Cookies") to your browser or device to assign an anonymous, unique identifier. A Cookie is a piece of data stored on your device containing non-personally identifiable information about you. We use Cookies to improve the quality of the Site, including for storing user preferences, tracking Site-user trends, and supporting our advertising and retargeting campaigns. Most Internet browsers are initially set up to accept Cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. Even in the case where a user rejects a Cookie, he or she may still use the LocalHomePro Offerings, though certain features may be limited.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect and analyze aggregate information about Site visitors, including traffic sources, page views, and user behavior. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, visit: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns, to build custom audiences, and to serve retargeted advertisements on Meta platforms. For information about Meta's data practices and your opt-out options, visit: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
LanderLab
We use LanderLab as a landing page and optimization platform. LanderLab may collect visitor data including IP address, browser type, device type, and form interaction data. Data collected through LanderLab is subject to LanderLab's privacy policy.
TrustedForm
We use TrustedForm, provided by ActiveProspect, Inc., as a consent certification platform. TrustedForm collects session-level data from our lead forms including IP address, browser information, form interaction data, and a session replay, for the purpose of generating a verifiable consent certificate. This data is not used for marketing purposes. For more information, visit activeprospect.com.
Sensitive Personal Information
LocalHomePro does not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) or similar state privacy laws, including Social Security numbers, precise geolocation data, financial account numbers, health or medical information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or biometric data. Accordingly, no "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" opt-out mechanism is required or provided.
Behavioral Tracking / Do Not Track
As a general rule, we and our third-party partners (including Meta and Google) track user activity on the Site for advertising attribution and analytics purposes as described above, including through the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, LanderLab, and TrustedForm. This tracking may occur even where you have selected the "Do Not Track" option on your Internet browser, as our Site does not currently respond to browser-level Do Not Track signals.
We do, however, honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information where required by applicable law, including under the CCPA/CPRA (California) and the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). If your browser transmits a GPC signal to our Site, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information.
Cross Device Tracking
LocalHomePro does not independently track users across multiple unaffiliated websites or devices for its own behavioral advertising purposes beyond what is described in this Policy. However, third-party advertising platforms we work with, including Meta and Google, may engage in cross-device tracking in connection with the advertising services they provide to us. Please refer to those platforms' privacy policies for more information.
Other Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party owned and/or operated websites, including, without limitation, websites owned and/or operated by our Third-Party Service Providers. LocalHomePro is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
Security of Your Personal Information
We endeavor to safeguard and protect our users' personal information. Data transmitted through the Site is protected using Transport Layer Security ("TLS") encryption software. Access to your personal information is strictly limited, and we take reasonable measures to ensure that your personal information is not accessible to the public. Please be advised, however, that while we take every reasonable precaution available to protect your data, no storage facility, technology, software, security protocol, or data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Any transmission of data at or through the Site is at your own risk. In compliance with applicable federal and state laws, we shall notify you and any applicable regulatory agencies in the event that we learn of an information security breach with respect to your personal information. You will be notified via email in the event of such a breach.
Children's Privacy
Visitors under eighteen (18) years of age are not permitted to use and/or submit their personal information at the Site. LocalHomePro does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from visitors under eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of any user we know to be under eighteen (18) years of age. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from someone under 18, we will promptly delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has submitted personal information to us should contact us immediately at support@stoymedia.com.
Opt-Out / Unsubscribe
To opt out of receiving email advertising, SMS text-based marketing, telemarketing, and direct mail marketing from us, you may follow the unsubscribe instructions at the end of the applicable marketing message, reply STOP to any SMS text message from us, or contact us at support@stoymedia.com or call (773) 217-0793.
To opt out of the sale of your personal information, please visit localhomepro.org/do-not-sell.
We will process all marketing email opt-out requests within ten (10) business days and all SMS opt-out requests immediately upon receipt of a STOP reply. For California residents seeking to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, see our CCPA Privacy page at localhomepro.org/ccpa-privacy, which governs that separate right and its applicable fifteen (15) day response window.
Please note that LocalHomePro does not itself contact leads after submission. All follow-up communications come directly from the Contractor(s) to whom your information was transmitted. LocalHomePro has no ability to stop, intercept, or revoke communications sent by Contractors on their own behalf. To opt out of a Contractor's communications, you must contact that Contractor directly.
Deleting, Modifying and Updating Your Information
At your request, we will inform you of what personal information we have on file for you. In addition, at your request, we will remove and/or modify the personal information that you have provided to us or that we have collected. You may do so by contacting us at support@stoymedia.com or calling (773) 217-0793; provided, however, that we ask individuals to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected, or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. TCPA consent records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of consent per FCC guidance. Opt-out and suppression records are retained indefinitely to honor your preferences.
Transfer of Personal Information
Our Site is operated from the United States and is intended solely for use by residents of the United States. If you are visiting the Site from a country other than the United States, your communications with us may result in the transfer of personal information across international boundaries. By visiting the Site and/or otherwise communicating electronically with us, you consent to such transfers. Residents of the European Union, United Kingdom, or any jurisdiction subject to the GDPR are not permitted to use this Site.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
LocalHomePro reserves the right to change or update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a notice on the Site that we are changing this Privacy Policy. If the manner in which we use personally identifiable information changes, LocalHomePro will notify users by sending the modified Policy to our users via email or by any other reasonable means acceptable under applicable state and federal law.
